Shea Serrano’s downtown office houses more than a few of his favorite things, including movie pop art and comic books."Primo" centers on young Rafa Gonzales as he hits a major turning point in his life. He and his pals are almost done with high school and it looks like he's got a lock on becoming the first in his family to go to college. It also looks like he just met his dream girl.
What's a budding young man to do? Why, turn to his mother Drea , of course. Or as the show title suggests, seek, or rather endure, the advice of his uncles Jay , Mike , Mondo , Rollie and Ryan . In addition to being set in San Antonio,"Primo" also shows some Spurs love with loads of Silver and Black lining Rafa's room.
