Set to go under the hammer at, the first retail production 2024 Corvette E-Ray will come in range-topping 3LZ trim and sport VIN 001. Furthermore, 100% of the hammer price will benefit DonorsChoose, which helps fund classroom projects to give students a better education.
The car will be auctioned off on April 15th and feature a 6.2-liter V8 engine that sends 495 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. That’s the same setup you’ll find in the Corvette Stingray, but the E-Ray throws a 1.9 kWh battery pack and a 160 hp electric motor into the mix. It powers the front wheels and gives the car all-wheel drive as well as a combined output of 655 hp .
