It wasn't long ago that Bernarda Bautista felt like she was closer to her dreams, but now, she is clinging to hope.
“The reason I got into cooking here in the neighborhood and opening my own restaurant was because of the requests I would receive and all of the community members who would also need food and as a means to support my daughter,” said Bautista.
“The landlord at the other location where I was at for four years didn’t want to rent to me anymore for no reason, he told me I could go to the corner and sell food or in the parking lot,” said Bautista. Bautista says her food become so popular that several members of the Cleveland Guardians have asked her to cater.
