Three fire appliances and specialist resources were seen meeting the Icelandair flight from Reykjavik after the alarm was raised at around 1.30pm on Friday, July 19.
Emergency Crews were scrambled to a Glasgow Airport runway this afternoon after 'smoke' was seen coming from a plane's tyre.
The Boeing 757-308 departed the Icelandic capital at around 10am before emergency crews were alerted to an 'incident' shortly after landing. It is unclear what caused the alarm to be raised.
However, footage taken by a member of the public appears to show smoke coming from below the aircraft. It is understood that fire crews were deployed as a precaution.A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 1.32pm on Friday, 19 July, to reports of an incident involving an aircraft at Glasgow Airport, Paisley, Renfrewshire.
