Fire crews douse three-home blaze in Cougar Ridge yyc

Henke said all the occupants of the home made it out safely, and no injuries had been reported, but there are some pets missing or still inside the damaged homes. “Due to the extreme damage to the structure, it’s just not safe for fire crews to go into the buildings at this time,” she said. Some neighbouring buildings were also evacuated as fire crews worked to douse the flames, said Henke.

Officials said the blaze likely spread to other homes as heavy winds fanned the flames.
