The fire service was called to the Clock Tower Brewers Fayre in Donnington at about 4.45am on Sunday to reports that a fire had broken out in the laundry room. Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said that three crews were sent from Telford Central and Wellington stations, and firefighters used breathing apparatus and water to extinguish the flames.
They accounted for everyone on the site at the time and ventilated the building with specialist equipment before inspecting it for stray smoke.
