Row house fire in the 600 block of Dauphin Street in HarrisburgConstruction may be to blame for the second-alarm fire at a Harrisburg rowhome on Saturday, according to reports.is believed to have started in the kitchen area. Other homes in the area were evacuated.
Early investigations found that the fire was caused by renovations occurring in the house next door, Harrisburg Fire Chief Brian Enterline told Trash from the renovation was being burned in a burn barrel next to the vacant house, he told the station. Burning debris then traveled to the vacant building and ignited, he said.It was unclear if there were any injuries stemming from the fire.
