New Glasgow Regional Police are advising residents to stay home. Officers, currently on patrol are reporting downed power lines and downed trees, obstructing various streets and sidewalks due to the strong hurricane winds. These roads and sidewalks in various locations are currently impassable. "It is important to stay inside as strong winds currently are creating dangerous conditions outside as downed power lines and flying debris are currently in effect," a release from New Glagsow Regional Police Const.
