🇫🇮 Despite being named happiest country in the world for a sixth year, Finland has issues, with voters concerned about debt and labour shortages

Critics from Finland’s right accuse Ms Marin of taking her eyes off the ball and allowing Finland’s national debt to snowball. According to a survey commissioned by YLE, Finland’s main public broadcaster, national debt is as big a cause of concern among the public as thePersonal scandals, too, have earmarked her premiership. A leaked video of the prime minister partying in November last year led toafter comments heard referring to narcotics.

“While she definitely has her fans and has superstar status among them, she is not liked by everyone,” says Liselot Lindström, a Finland-based journalist for Sweden’s public television broadcaster Sveriges Television.
