The Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced the finalists for the 2022 Excellence in Business Awards. | SaltWire

“These businesses were nominated by their peers and judged by a panel of business and organization leaders who can attest firsthand to the work and creativity it takes to be an entrepreneur,” said Jenna Lahey, CEO of the Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce, in a press release. The judging committee is comprised of 10 local business leaders and organizations throughout the Cape Breton Regional Municipality.
Other category finalists are Clearwater, Copol International and Sundaylace Creations in the Beyond Borders Exporter of the Year award; Eltuek Arts Centre, Highland Arts Theatre and Serein Salon for the Community Impact Award, Breton Ability Centre and New Dawn Enterprises in the Social Enterprise of the Year category; and Anchored Ideas, Better Bite Cafe and Haley Street Adult Services Centre as Workplace Excellence Award finalists.
