Club legend Roger Feutmba insists Mamelodi Sundowns have made their title intentions clear as runaway favourites by scoring eight goals in their last two matches. Read more here ▶️
Sundowns beat Maritzburg United 5-0 before defeating Royal AM by 3-0 on Saturday under head coach Rulani Mokwena.
The two statement victories saw the defending champions extend their lead to five points with 28 points after 12 matches played."Regarding the slow start in the first half against Royal AM, you have to understand that all teams in the top-flight are professional teams," Feutmba tells"We must always remember that we are playing against an opponent who is also looking for a win.
"Royal AM looked good, but they didn't get anything out of it, and Sundowns managed to come back and took control of the game. "All those eight goals they scored in their last two games is because they played beautiful football."The change of coaches to me doesn't mean a lot because they are still there, all three of them.
"So, for me, they are still doing what they've been doing in the past six years, they are the best in the country."
