New plans for Poulton town centre could see the area made more pedestrian-friendly and more festivals and events added to the calender
The local authority has launched a study to identify how to improve the town centre and public feedback is wanted as part of it. According to the council, the study aims to address any potential future challenges and opportunities for Poulton town centre and to ensure the economic wellbeing of the town so that it can better meet the needs of its local people, businesses and visitors for the next 15 years and beyond.
The study is at an early stage and Wyre Council is asking for comments on the proposed projects between now and June 15. A public consultation event will take place at Poulton Market on Monday 12 June.
