This weekend is set to see the return of The International Ayr Show – Festival of Light following a successful launch last year with Spitfires, Hurricanes, Lancasters and Eurofighter Typhoons.
Kids both big and little across Glasgow and Ayrshire are in for a treat this weekend with the return of a fantastic air show promising 'iconic aircraft and daring aerial displays'.
A spokesperson for South Ayrhsire Council said: "Once again, a fantastic entertainment programme will run over both days. So, you can expect another rip-roaring weekend of fun and thrills for all the family. Addressing some of the teething problems last year, the council confirmed there will also be increased and improved car parking provision and traffic management measures to help support the flow of traffic in and around Ayr.
