Feral hogs are destroying parts of Houston-area: Here's what you can do to stop them
Residents can reach out to their local governments when hog problems arise. The city of Sugar Land, for example, works with neighborhoods to address concerns about the hogs, said Doug Adolph, the city's communications director.
Their carefully landscaped yards had been destroyed by hogs who dug up the soil, damaged the vegetation and left behind piles of feces. At the time, the HOA said it stopped the trapper because he had been trespassing and because his method of corralling and transporting the animals was not the right way to deal with them. Attempts to contact the association were unsuccessful by presstime.
