The vehicle also caught fire after smashing into the plush three-bedroomed £340k villa
A female relative of gangland hood Steven 'Bonzo' Daniel is said to have been left shaken after a car rammed into his Bishopbriggs home on Tuesday night.
A source told the Daily Record Bonzo's relative was inside the property watching TV at the time a Mitsubishi vehicle ploughed into the front door. She is understood to have been left shaken but escaped unharmed. Balaclava thugs are also said to have been seen running from the vehicle after the crash.
Bonzo, who is also known as Steven Peebles, suffered grotesque facial wounds after being attacked with a machete following a high-speed car chase in May 2017 after a wave of violence between the Lyons and Daniel families erupted the previous December. Emergency services raced to the scene after the drama unfolded at around 9.45pm on Tuesday night. Police officers and fire crews both attended the incident. The car involved was towed away from the street early this morning.
