One of those companies, Kathairos, is receiving $3.9 million to grow its emission reduction business to help eliminate greenhouse gas emissions from oil and gas well sites. Kathairos has devised a system to eliminate methane venting from oil and gas well sites by replacing the fuel gas used by the well sites with nitrogen.
Peterson said their founders have more than 30 years experience in the oil industry and the bulk of the people they hire, from drivers to engineers to mechanics, are all people from oil and gas.Article content
