A. Mechele Dickerson joined the faculty in January 2006 and served as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs from 2006-2011. She has a courtesy appointment at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and is also the Faculty Athletics Representative for the University of Texas. Dickerson is the author of Homeownership and America's Financial Underclass: Flawed Premises, Broken Promises, New Prescriptions and has recently completed a manuscript on the Neglected Middle Class.
