The FBI Washington Field Office said their National Capital Response Squad responded to the incident at 8 a.m. The situation was resolved, and the subject was taken into custody shortly before 3 p.m., the FBI said. They are providing victim assistance services, and Army CID is the lead investigative agency.

No one was injured during the situation, the FBI said. It provided no other details during the incident except to say some of the gates to the installation remained open.
