Though he did not specify the exact amount he had to return, he revealed that his total debt is actually more than the stipulated $37mil.In a recent live stream, an exasperated Yapeng also shared that the court had put a restriction on his spending. Yapeng disclosed that he was in Guangxi, which is about a three-hour flight to Beijing, where he lives.
His assistant had bought a first-class ticket for him but when he got to the airport, he realised he was not allowed to get on the flight home due to the restriction that was placed on him.Yapeng, who was live streaming from the airport, is trying to stay optimistic about his current situation. He said: “I have a valid reason for publicly talking on live stream about repaying my debts. As long as I am still alive, I will take full responsibility for my mistakes!”
