The eastbound Palmer-Wasilla Highway has been closed at the Parks Highway following a deadly collision that killed a motorcyclist, police said.
The motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in the crash, which has closed the eastbound Palmer-Wasilla Highway at the Parks Highway, Wasilla Police Department spokeswoman Amanda Graham said.
Officers were diverting traffic through parking lots at Fred Meyer and Target but drivers were asked to find an alternate route if possible and use caution if diverting through the commercial parking lots.Police were not identifying the person who died, pending notification of next of kin.
