A new clip from Fast X shows off more of Letty and Cipher’s showdown with included behind-the-scenes comparison footage showing how it came together.
Letty's thrilling showdown against Cipher takes center stage in a new clip from Fast X, which includes extra behind-the-scenes footage showing how the sequence was brought to life. Serving as the tenth installment in the long-running Fast & Furious franchise, Fast X sees Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto facing off against a new villain played by Jason Momoa.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Now, ahead of the Fast X release date later this month, The Fast Saga Twitter account has revealed a new look at Letty and Cipher's fight in the movie. Check out the new video below: The latest video shows an extended look at the fight itself but also includes a side-by-side comparison between the fight that ends up in the movie and behind-the-scenes footage of how it was actually filmed.
How Will Cipher Factor Into Fast X? Momoa's Dante is Fast X's unhinged new villain, with the character out for revenge against Dom and his family after the events of Fast Five. With Dante seemingly taking center stage, it's curious, then, that Cipher has been brought back once again to serve as an auxiliary villain of sorts. After being defeated as the big bad in Fate of the Furious, Cipher escapes custody in F9 to attempt to destroy Dom once more.
F9 ends with Cipher again defeated, but she remains very much at large. All that has been shown of her in Fast X so far is her wearing a white jumpsuit and seemingly being held in some kind of facility with Letty. While the two characters certainly seem to be at odds judging from the material released thus far, it's possible that her containment in the facility is part of a larger plan that Dante has put into motion.
