A farm attack took place on 22 September 2022, between 08:00 and 09:00, on the farm Schietfontein, in the Linton area, outside of Musina in the Limpopo province of South Africa. A gang of heavily armed, balaclava clad attackers invaded the farm, shot one of the farm workers and then proceeded to the farmhouse.The attackers then raided the home and took rifles, pistols and an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled on foot.
After the alarm was raised, the lady, her son and the farm worker was transported to hospital with gunshot wounds. They are all in a serious but stable condition. A successful follow up operation and close co-operation between CPF Musina, Alldays and Linton Rural Safety, SAPS and SANDF resulted in five attackers being arrested later in the day at approximately 14:00.Read about more
