Farm attack, man severely assaulted, robbed in his home, Polokwane SouthAfrica via SATodayNews
Mr. Obie Oberholzer, who is a foreman on the property and who stayed alone was overpowered by five attackers in his home.
Five months earlier, Mr. Oberholzer’s wife, Lindie Oberholzer was attacked and fatally wounded in her home in broad daylight on 17 August 2022.Mr. Oberholzer was overpowered in his bed while asleep and stabbed multiple times. He was also assaulted over the head with a pickaxe handle.The attackers demanded keys to the safe and stole the man’s wallet, revolver and ammunition before fleeing the scene.
Neighbours responded to assist after their dogs alerted them to the disturbance and Mr. Oberholzer was taken to hospital by ambulance.There is no other information available at this stage.
