Farm attack, farmer shoots and kills armed attacker in his home, Hankey via SATodayNews
of South Africa. The farmer, who was shot and wounded on the same farm in an attack in August 2021, shot and killed his attacker.In self defence the owner fired a shot wounding the attacker who later died.

The farmer and his wife were not injured during the attack but are receiving necessary support from the community.There is no other information available at this stage. On 11 August 2021, at 18:40, on the farm Weltevreden, an unknown number of attackers opened fire on the farmhouse injuring the farmer who was shot.
The farmer returned fire causing the attackers to flee into the bush. His preparedness and response probably saved his life and those of his family.
