A new teaser for The Fantastic Four: First Steps has been released, giving fans their first look at the team in action. The teaser showcases the team's costumes, CGI version of Ben Grimm, and glimpses of action sequences set in a retro-futuristic 1960s world. The film is set to release in July, coinciding with the release of James Gunn's Superman.

The teaser could be deemed a fully fledged trailer, as we saw the team’s costumes, as well as the CGI-version of Ben Grimm.

is earmarked for release on 11th July Stateside, but now we also know that he will be going up against The Fantastic Four: First Steps. For those keeping count, it is the third time that a live action adaption of Marvel’s first family will be hitting screens, with the first two under the FOX studio and this third iteration featuring Marvel Studios at the helm.

As for this teaser, there is plenty to dissect and gawk at, with it opening up in the 60s era version of this universe. We also get several scenes of Ben Grimm, aka The Thing, which is played by Ebon Moss-Bachrach. He is joined by Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm.

Perhaps that will be saved for the full trailer down the line, but there is still a lot to enjoy in the teaser, such as the arrival of Galactus, and whoever John Malkovich will be playing in the movie.
