‘Forever an absolute legend, the top of his game.' Heartfelt tributes for Sean Lock have poured in today on what would’ve been the comedian's 60th birthday.
A statement released by Off The Kerb Productions at the time read: ‘It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of Sean Lock. He died at home from cancer, surrounded by his family.
‘Sean was one of Britain’s finest comedians, his boundless creativity, lightning wit and the absurdist brilliance of his work, marked him out as a unique voice in British comedy. Sean was also a cherished husband and father to three children.the privacy of his family and childrenLock’s appearances on various TV panel shows, such as 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Have I Got News for You, and QI, provided fans with plenty of belly laughs over the years, as did his stand-up performances.
