A famous Glasgow bar will be hosting the 'most wholesome event in town' next weekend.
Sloans, situated on Argyle Street in the city centre, is launching its Wee Ceilidh on Sunday, September 10.
The event, which will take place between 2pm and 4pm, is suited for all ages and will bring attendees livefrom resident ceilidh band Chitterybite alongside dances such as Gay Gordons, Dashing White Sergeant, and Strip the Willow. A range of colouring-in stations will also be set up around the ballroom for youngsters and 'anyone needing a break from the dance floor'.Nicola Wilkinson from Sloans said:"We’ve wanted to do a family ceilidh for a long time and we’re excited now to officially add the Wee Ceilidh to our programme of events.
"It’s a genuine feel-good event and so lovely to see families enjoying traditional Scottish music and dancing together. "Tickets have nearly sold out for September and November’s events so get in quick if you fancy getting in on the action."Tickets are available to purchase
