A family's "holiday of a lifetime" was tarnished after their connecting British Airways flight did not load their suitcases.
British Airways told the ECHO the Sheron family's bags missed the connection, but claimed a courier attempted to deliver the bags earlier this week but no one was home. A spokesperson added: "We’re sorry for the delay in reuniting our customers with their bags." "But when I spoke with British Airways my details had been closed because they thought all the luggage had been delivered. I was then told it would be another 24 to 48 hours. For all I knew the cases were still in Heathrow."
