The heartbroken family of a mum-of-four who died two days after discovering she had cancer have paid tribute to an ‘amazing and special lady’ who touched the lives of many.
Family and friends wore purple, the 46-year-old's favourite colour, as they said their poignant goodbyes at MacGregor Family Funeral Directors.
"Her kids were her pride and joy - we still can’t believe that our mum is gone. She was a mum-in-a-million and we will miss her every day. Janice was taken into hospital after she became unwell and began struggling to walk. The family were devastated to discover that she had cancer and hoped they would get to spend more time with her.
“We were left stunned and shocked. The family stayed by mum’s bedside from that moment on. We hoped we would have more time with her, but she passed away just two days after the diagnosis. “She was looking forward to meeting her grandson and we are all heartbroken she’ll never get that chance.
