reports the incident happened Thursday night at the family’s home in a northwest Portland neighborhood.
The father of the family of five said he ran to the front door and confronted the suspect, later identified as 18-year-old Joseph Ibrahim. “He [the suspect] was looking at both of us and actively trying to get into the house,” the father said. “I didn’t know what he had in mind.” “I didn’t know whether he [the suspect] had a gun, or a knife, or what was happening,” she said. “So, I grabbed my children.”
