Outrageous!

A family have come under fire after they drove a 4x4 onto a protected beauty spot in Scotland despite being warned not to drive onto the beach.

The family had driven to the Outer Hebridean beach in Scotland, where locals warned them pitching a tent on the sand was a very bad idea, The Mirror reports. Peter Harris, who shared the photos to the Isle of Harris Facebook Group, revealed the campers apparently had no intention of moving when warned about the dangers of camping close to the lapping waves.

Thousands responded angrily to the post, with many furious they had allegedly breached beach rules, reports the Mail Online. Many joked about the family's car and possessions getting swept away by the tide, with others were concerned for the younger members of the family.
