Blackpool family heartbroken as white van driver ploughs into beloved dog - and 'does a runner'

A dog-owner has called for a motorist to 'come forward' after watching shocking footage of her French Bulldog being knocked down by a van.

Danielle, who is just weeks away from giving birth, had to take Micky to the vets, at a cost of £350, and now faces further vet bills. "From the footage it looks like the van was going well above the speed limit," she told LancsLive."He was in the vets all day. He took a big wallop from the van and was left bleeding from the mouth and covered in blood.

"But you can tell from the footage that the driver must have known what had happened. He hit him with that much force; he must have known."
