There are currently 90 children and young people from the country in local schools and nurseries.
Councils across the UK must take a proportion of the children and young people and assume full responsibility for their welfare. Many of the young people have said that their priority is to learning English, but funding for lessons that was provided by the UK Government has now dried up, meaning any support they get in learning the language will be through their schools.
