Penny Lebyane was one of many South African celebrities who unknowingly frequented criminally-accused skin doctor Nandipha Magudumana. The media personality was spotted in a snippet of Showmax’sNandipha – a successful entrepreneur – was the owner of Optimum Medical Aesthetics Solutions, a Sandton-based beauty business.TV and radio personality Penny Lebyane was seen visiting Nandipha Magudumana’s Sandton skin clinic.
As a successful cosmetics doctor, Dr Nandipha has befriended many celebrities over the years. In pictures that have gone viral on social media, the skincare guru is seen rubbing shoulders with celebs like Thabo Mbeki, Jessica Nkosi, Redi Tlhabi, and Terry Pheto. The investigative journalist insisted her friendship with Nandipha was formed through their partners, Brian Tlhabi and Mkhuseli Magumana, who are friends. She also claims she last spoke to Magadumana in 2019.

Legal Team Hopes Showmax Documentary Won't Affect Facebook Rapist's TrialAs streaming service Showmax broadcasts its highly anticipated "Tracking Thabo Bester" documentary, the Facebook rapist's legal team says it hopes the programme wont affect his trial. Bester alongside celebrity doctor Nandipha Magudumana lost their bid to put the four-part docuseries on ice. The programme, which is now broadcasting exclusively on the platform, details events surrounding Bester's brazen prison escape from the Mangaung Correctional Facility. Bester believes its unfair that Multichoice is set to benefit commercially from broadcasting Showmax's documentary about his infamous prison break. His legal team has argued in court that Bester wasn't consulted and asked for consent before and during production of the four-part docuseries. His lawyer, Neo Motsatsi said while they respect the court's ruling, they still believe "Tracking Thabo Bester" will infringe the Facebook rapist's right to a fair trial. "We are obviously disappointed, but we are very happy that the court has not granted any cost order against my client, Mr Bester."
