Like so many fans of the franchise, F:NV has to be my personal favourite when it comes to modern Fallout games. If I were to rank all the games, it would sit right below Fallout 2. Compared to Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, I generally prefer F:NV due to the fact that it has closer ties to the first and second games. Also, with Obsidian Entertainment's expertise and repertoire when it comes to creating engaging and immersive RPGs, F:NV is no different and is filled with interesting characters, locations and quests.
Even after 13 years, the modding scene for F:NV is still going strong and the game's Nexus Mods page has over 20,000 mods. If you are not experienced with modding or just want an easy-to-follow guide, I highly recommend the "Viva New Vegas" guide that focuses on improving the game's stability, performance, gameplay and customisability.
