Lancaster County officials have closed a road while they work to clear a tree that fell down Sunday morning. According to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police, the tree fell on Sunday on the 300 block of South Broad Street. Crews are currently on scene working to get the tree off of the road. Police say PPL had to cut power to 300 homes in the area while they checked the power lines. The city arborist as well as Verizon have both been called to the scene, officers say.
