A beautiful Welsh village has been described as one of the best places to visit in the UK - and it's not far from Liverpool.
For people familiar with Betws-y-Coed, its accolades are not unexpected but still welcome, North Wales Live reports. But GO Outdoors recently placed it top of the pile in their best 20 holiday hotspots. They added: "The UK is a great place to explore with plenty of holiday hotspots to choose from. There are a diverse range of destinations to visit across the country, with something on offer for everyone.
Also latest to signpost Betws-y-Coed’s out-of-season appeal was Canada-based publication The Travel. The publications said Betws-y-Coed was a place of “quaint charm”.
