Thabo Bester, a Facebook rapist and murderer, is demanding a copy of the docu-series based on his prison escape. His lover, Nandipha Magudumana, also demands the same, threatening legal action if Showmax does not comply.
Facebook rapist and murder Thabo Bester are demanding a copy of the docu-series based on his prison escape . Bester’s lover Nandipha Magudumana ’s team also made a similar demand threatening legal action if Showmax does not comply. Streaming services Showmax was served with another letter of demand by Bester’s lawyers demanding a copy of the docu-series.
Magudumana’s legal representatives made the same demands arguing that she did not give MultiChoice permission to produce or broadcast the documentary. Both Bester and Magudumana gave the Showmax team until Saturday threatening to lay charges against the team. Bester’s legal representative team have vowed should they not hear from the Showmax team they will be taking the matter to court to protect Bester’s rights. Bester’s representative argued according to Eyewitness News that he was not interviewed by anyone from Showmax and do not know who is going to benefit from this documentary. Showmax has confirmed that they received Magudumana’s letter and did not indicate whether they will be handing over the docu-series
