"Only six laps done," says Fabio Quartararo as Yamaha lose battle to the weather
Monday was the wettest day of the MotoGP weekend in Portugal so far, which made it difficult for Yamaha to carry out their plans.“It will be great. Hopefully the weather allows us to test them.”
The struggling Japanese manufacturer was able to carry out an official test 24 hours after the Portuguese MotoGP as part of the revised concessions rule this year. But, by only completing six laps because of the wet weather, Yamaha have essentially wasted one of their testing days.
