Sergio Perez experienced a challenging Friday in Monaco, struggling with significant performance limitations of the Red Bull RB20. Despite efforts to adjust and optimize the car, both Perez and his teammate Max Verstappen ended the practice sessions trailing behind their competitors, particularly the Ferrari team.On what turned out to be a disheartening day for the Austrian team and its fans, Perez faced substantial difficulties during the practice sessions at the iconic Monaco Grand Prix.
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc led the second practice whilst Lewis Hamilton went fastest in the first.Speaking to Sky Sports F1 after the two practice sessions, Perez commented, as quoted by GP Blog:'It's very tough. I think our limitations are really hard to get away from at the moment. Yes, we'll see what we can come up with tonight. We'll run two cars slightly different. I don't know what the issues for Max were. Plenty of things.
