“It will pick up people that are wanted on warrants, stolen plates, stolen vehicles, expired plates. Missing persons index is on there as well — if a missing person has a vehicle associated with their name, that will be placed on the system — and also Amber Alerts.” However, the Ottawa service also received an additional $669,447 as its share of special one-time funding from the Ontario government.
