'Real Housewives' star Bev Steyn has opened up about why she was arrested in an exclusive interview with 'The South African'
star Bev Steyn’s mugshot via a video last week. Bev also stars onseries including Durban, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Gqebehra.
According to Vilakazi, the mugshot was captured in Diep River in Cape Town October 2023. He went on to say that Bev was arrested for criminal injuria.“So basically someone laid a charge against Bev for criminal injuria, which is unlawfully and intentionally impair someone’s dignity. So, who is this person?” he said.
Vilakazi went on to say that there is speculation that the charge was laid against Bev by her ex-husband. “Word on the street is that it is Beverly’s ex-husband who laid a charge against her. We have to be careful when we talk about it because the matter is still in court and still a pending matter surrounding this. But basically… she said that she had been applying for protection orders against this person.
“Trial starts tomorrow, it is at the Wynberg courts and hopefully we will wrap it up all in one day otherwise, there will be another date set if all is there,” she said.
