Somm: Cup of Salvation is a new documentary about winemaking that follows a father and daughter who attempt to revive ancient grapes in Armenia and Iran. The film will be released this summer from Samuel Goldwyn Films.“Experience the compelling journey of a father and daughter in Somm: Cup of Salvation, crafted by the same team behind the acclaimed Somm documentaries,” the film’s description reads.
Somm: Cup of Salvation is directed by Jason Wise. Wise co-wrote the script with Christina Wise, both of whom also produced the film alongside Jackson Myers, Eric Esrailian, and Armen Kachaturian.documentary films prior to Somm: Cup of Salvation, including 2012’s Somm, 2015’s Somm: Into the Bottle, and 2018’s Somm 3. All three previous Somm films were also directed by Jason Wise.
Somm: Cup of Salvation releases in select United States theaters and on digital platforms on June 28, 2024, from Samuel Goldwyn Films.
