Former President Donald Trump will be making a historic move by speaking at the Libertarian party’s national convention, Libertarian party chair Angela McArdle said during an interview on, explaining the importance of being able to use the opportunity to advance the message of liberty.
She said they are going to do “everything in our power to use this incredible opportunity to advance the message of liberty,” adding that Trump has said that he is going to speak directly to issues important to Libertarians. “It would behoove us to take this amazing opportunity to share those concerns with someone who’s very likely to be the next President of the United States. So that’s what we’re doing,” she said, emphasizing that spending alone is a “critical issue.”
“We want to hear President Trump’s plan for bringing peace or at least some stability or less U.S. involvement over there,” she said, referencing the conflicts in Israel and Ukraine.
