League One side Lincoln City have opened talks with Wickens and hope to lure him to the club and provide competition for current ‘keepers Jamie Pardington and Sam Long.Wickens is said to be open to the move having not yet made a senior appearance for his boyhood club.Standing at 6ft 5in with a remarkable range of movement, Wickens has climbed up the youth ranks at Fulham but is yet to make an impact on the senior team.
Wickens has also featured for England at youth level, turning out for both the Under-16s and Under-18s. After an impressive League One campaign in which Lincoln finished 7th, the Imps are looking to capitalise on a strong end to their season and improve their squad.
