With a looming report hanging over President Cyril Ramaphosa's head this week, ANC national chairperson Gwede Mantashe says there is a big difference between the Phala Phala scandal and allegations of corruption linked to Digital Vibes implicating his rival, Zweli Mkhize.

Mantashe, who is seeking a second term as ANC national chairperson at the party's elective conference in December, threw his weight behind Ramaphosa, saying the weakness of the ANC leadership in the last five years could not be attributed to the president alone.
