"This has created a severe distrust in our leadership and their real intentions towards protecting the vulnerable groups of women and children who are consistently underserved.""The decision to allocate such a significant amount of money to VIP protection rather than to GBV prevention efforts is troubling.

"As activists, we have the responsibility to protect the best interest of the majority and of those who are the most vulnerable in our society.
