Excited for BTSonGMA? Here's how to get tickets for 'GMA's 2019 Summer Concert Series
If you’ve always wanted to see BTS perform for free, now’s your chance. Good Morning America announced the lineup for its 11th annual Summer Concert Series on Friday. The superstar Korean pop group are slated to kick off the performances with a show on May 15.
All the other shows scheduled in the summer concert series are free but first come, first serve until the venue reaches capacity. The lineup at Rumsey Playfield starts at 6 a.m. ET on each show date, and concerts are expected to begin each morning at 7 a.m. until 9 a.m. ET during GMA's live taping. BTS’ opening performance comes on the heels of the group’s third album, Map of the Soul: Persona, which released in late April. Within a week, the record topped Billboard’s 200 chart, marking the band’s third No. 1 album in the U.S. Both Love Yourself: Tear and Love Yourself: Answer, which arrived in 2018, topped Billboard charts upon their release.
