Intense heat wave continues through the weekend

The forecast high for Tuesday was 98° with sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 90s expected for the rest of the week. The heat wave continues across North Texas. Highs will once again climb well above 100 through the weekend.
Along with the intense heat, the fire danger will be quite high, especially from Fort Worth to the west where things are incredibly dry.While there may be a day or two next week where the heat briefly decreases, no significant relief is expected over the next 10 days.
