They're heading this way
A yellow warning for thunderstorms has been put in place for a large part of Yorkshire by the Met Office.
According to the Met Office, these storms have a chance of causing damage to buildings and property through lightning strikes, flooding, hailstones and strong winds.The Met Office said: "High temperatures on Sunday will trigger showers and thunderstorms across the warning area, some of which are likely to be torrential , perhaps bringing a few places 30-40 mm in an hour.
However, according to Met Office forecasts, the storms will not hit parts of Yorkshire until later in the afternoon. Thunderstorms are forecasted for Doncaster between 1pm and 2pm, before returning for 3pm-4pm.
